Dear Millers — tickets are now ON SALE for our Christmas concert. It’s called Millers’ Carols at St Ann’s and it’s going to be a wonderful candlelit evening of music and readings on Thursday, December 16th, starting at 7.30pm. It costs £16 for Mill members (reduced from £20) and this special link has the offer coupon already loaded — book away! There will be some sing-along carols, some beautiful choral music sung by the church’s choir, and some pieces played by a string quartet.

We came up with the idea a couple of months ago when Mike, one of our members, came into the office and mentioned that St Ann’s (our next-door neighbours on Manchester’s finest square) were struggling financially having lost all their events and weddings revenue during the pandemic. So we came up with the idea of a Christmas concert where we would raise some money jointly for the church’s Covid-19 Recovery Fund and for The Mill, as well as paying some great local musicians.
