Leaving isolation to say goodbye to my mum

Good morning members — today’s piece is by Dani, and it’s the first in a series we are doing interviewing people who have been shielding or living very isolated lives since the Spring.

It’s a moving account of a woman on the shielding list who broke her isolation to go and visit her mum as she was dying.
