Ahead of Manchester City of Literature’s inaugural Festival of Libraries next week, the veteran critic Phil Griffin takes us on a wonderful trip down memory lane. As well as being a longtime Mill member, Phil is a legendary writer in Manchester and we’ve been looking forward to publishing something by him for a while.
