Dear members — last week Mollie went to Oldham to take a look at a new “renew shop” which has just opened there. Three such shops have just opened across Greater Manchester, selling household items donated by residents at their local Household and Waste Recycling Centres. We take a look at how the shops work and whether the idea could put a dent in our society’s urgent problem of consumer waste.
