We're still planning the precise details, but the night will include:

• Mini-talks from our writers and Q&As about our work and plans for the future, including a chance to hear from Jack Dulhanty about his reporting on the blockbuster Mana story.

• Lots of milling around with other members and the team — the venue's cash bar will be up and running all night. A good chance for you to drunkenly pass us information or buttonhole us about your low-level grievances.

• Copies of last year's print edition for anyone who missed one.

• An intricate mill-shaped cake baked by Mollie.
