‘Friends? I haven’t got any friends. My life is just me and my work’

Dear members —  today’s story is about a man leading an isolated life, despite being married and despite having kids. Mohammad drives taxis here from 11pm at night to 6am in the morning, and has been doing so for the best part of the past two decades.

What does it mean to lead a nocturnal existence in a 9-5 world? Plus, an update on Faith, the 15-year-old girl who wrote a popular essay on her family life for us last year and how Didsbury’s flood basin affects the people who live there.
