St Ann's was always in the background whilst i was growing up in Manchester . My friends and I would pass through the square on our way home from school ,not because that was our route, but because one friend had a crush on someone who worked at Moss Bros! No idea if that shop is still there . I also worked for a time at The Kardomah in the summer of 1972 where The Reverand used to go . Many connections with the square with the presence of the church there at one end. Sadly I won't be attending the Carol service and to my shame I've not been inside the church but I will put that right one day.
Thanks Dani for this article, The Reverend seems a really compassionate person. Good luck with the Carol service.
