Dear members — today’s story is an update on the disappearance of student Charley Gadd in Manchester. Jack spent some time at the riverside yesterday, witnessing a search for his body in the Irwell.
It’s been lovely meeting some of you on the doorstep this week as we handed over bundles of the print edition, and even more lovely to see many of you at our Christmas concert last night. The music was magical and we just want to thank the rector Nigel, director of music Simon and everyone at St Ann’s for putting on the event, despite the tricky circumstances.
