Hi Anne. I think this is more of a historical allegation. The belief from hunts that Sab groups have access to private funding dates quite a long way back, as there is a bit of a 'why would they do this if they are not being paid' line of thought.
Hey Tom. I honestly don't believe the sabs were exclusively middle class or "crusties", at all. They came from various walks of life, different jobs and had supporters in rural areas too, as I mention in the piece. They were almost exclusively vegan, yes, but I wouldn't intend to infer that has any bearing on their class or character.
