Pity Andy Burnhams scheme didnt include scrapping the £10 per annum pensioners now pay for what was previously a 'free' travel pass to use the trams and local trains. Also every time I swipe my card through the machine at the tram stop it charges me 10p so in addition to the £10 I pay 20p every time I get on and off a tram.
