A very Happy second birthday.. I remember when I first noticed your presene online and you took my attention, I thought to myself I love this guys style, and then I realised that you were actually only a few weeks old... I saw none of your stories had any images so I wrote and asked if I could come along and take a few for you, we met and did a story on Covid and I have watched you go from strength to strength ever since.. Dani came on board and the Mill took on a life of it's own, having not only agreat writer but a capable photographer to match those writing skills made The Mill even more appealing..

What you have achieved since those very first few weeks is impressive, you are a remarkable young man Joshi and the team you are building around you is also a mix of remarkable talent.

I always say to you Joshi, 'Your mum will be very proud of you'... I have no doubt she is bursting with pride... I know I am for what I have watched you acheive...

Happy birthday to The Mill...

Happy second birthday! I think I remember seeing The Mill as a promoted page on Facebook, probably around two years ago. I signed up around that time. Took out my paid subscription in September 2020, best thing I've paid money for in a very long time. Onwards and upwards!

Happy Birthday to The Mill and all the talented people who make it happen. I've recently "culled" some of my media/content subscriptions with the cost of living going up but not The Mill subscription. That's staying not just because the content is so good, but also because it's nice to play a small role in helping fund something that really has a sense of purpose and meaning.

Happy Birthday! I think I subscribed not long after you were 'born'. I absolutely love being able to read really long articles - in depth features about things of local interest. Obviously not everything appeals to me - for example I tend to switch off in sports discussions - but the chance to have 'proper' journalism arriving in my inbox is fantastic. I hate the current format of many online news providers - it can be almost impossible to wade through the ads to the news. I also hate the headline method of looking at something. I also subscribe to The Guardian and avidly read their long reports on almost anything, and I subscribe to both New Statesman and New Scientist and appreciate lengthy and informative articles. I sincerely hope you'll be celebrating your tenth, twentieth, fiftieth birthdays and making your readers happy.

I am getting so much pleasure at the emergence of the mill from an idea to a vulnerable infant to the a boisterous adolescent. May you overcome the hormone rush and continue on your progress into the unknown.
