Thanks Jack, an enjoyable insight into local radio. I fear the cutbacks will be worse than BBC management suggest but as an organisation, they're not interested in our views or opinions. Thanks primarily to Nadine D, we're about to lose BBC News UK, BBC 4 and Radio 4 extra. We'll miss it when it's gone.
I've always loved local radio wherever I've lived and still listen to radio Manchester at times. It would be a sad day if it became more homogenised across the BBC .
