The GM Ringway's been in development for some years now - some of the stages were published back in 2019, and I started (slowly) walking it in 2020, just before that "event" happened. It's taken me quite some time, but it's been fascinating exploring parts of the area I have never known about. The coming developments with signage and apps are definitely welcome, but you can explore it all now as well. Well worth doing!
Greater Manchester does not contain 10 boroughs. There's only eight of them - Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside, Stockport, and Trafford. Manchester and Salford are not boroughs; they are cities. When I lived in Manchester, I paid my Council Tax to Manchester City Council, not Manchester Borough Council. And when I lived in Salford, I paid my poll tax (it was that long ago) to Salford City Council, not Salford Borough Council. It's not too much to ask. Is it? It's hardly a hanging offence, but it does annoy me.
The current Manchester and Salford Councils date back to 1974 and - like the other eight councils - have the same legal status - mostly known as Metropolitan District (although the name Metropolitan Borough Council is often used.).
And if we go back in time prior to 1974, both Manchester and Salford had the legal status of County Borough Councils.
The names are - in effect - irrelevant. It's all about the legal status!
The food was good but it was more the general vibe which I liked. With it being the same people as Ramona and Firehouse they obviously think they’re onto a winner appealing to people who want to go out for something to eat then stay for more of a club / night out atmosphere with some entertainment thrown in. They’ve got a massive sound system too and I overheard somebody that works there say they’ve invested loads in soundproofing in the hope of minimising issues. There aren’t they many places left in the city centre where you can go and listen to really loud music… Will be interesting to see what they do with the rest. It’s pretty expensive for drinks although that might just be where we’re at now as a city unfortunately.

That's as maybe, but It's not irrelevant to me. They are cities, regardless of their legal status!
Went to Diecast over the weekend and enjoyed it, understand the comparisons to Freight Island but is it a food hall? I’m not sure it is
Oh yeah? Give us a fuller review please.
