All power to Zhino and the brave protesters in Iran. I wish I had known about the protests in St Peter's Square as I would have joined them to show solidarity and to contribute to their fund if they have one.
I hope they manage to cause the collapse of the Islamic Republic in Iran - it might give hope to the victims of other similar misogynistic regimes.
Hi Elaine - I believe the protests are ongoing in Manchester. Saturdays in St Peter's Square & Sundays in Piccadilly Gardens (not sure if markets have affected that).
…and which country do we play on Monday?? I won’t be watching. Sometimes there are more important things than football. Shame on David Bekham and Robbie Williams.
I can only be so glad that as a woman, I have my rights and freedoms. Imagining what life for those women in Iran, and men too if they do not bow down to the tyranny.
Like any tyrannical rule though, this is aided and enabled by other citizens.
