It’s such a nice change to read a properly researched piece of journalism instead of the usual one-sided exaggerated scandal and click bait most of the regular press seems to be full of these days.
You phoned the shop who didn't want to talk about it and they referred you to the police - so you phoned back later so you could talk to someone else. Pretty underhand journalistic practice, hounding people who don't want to talk about a traumatic experience.
We didn't hound them - just made a second call later to see if they were less busy and might have time to chat. Which they did, very happily. Thanks for reading.
Police "have spoken" to the person in the video. Would appear issue is closed 😕
Nicely balanced and well investigated.

Great journalism, bravo. Let's hope that Manchester police get to the truth.
Thanks - see update. It's been resolved.
Good research. Needs further clarification from the investigate authorities. Thanks.
Thanks very much Stephen
